Costume
Costume
I feel that the look of the music artist for our video will be inspired by the actual artist for the song. Brandon Flowers has alway used had a bit of a different look and I feel that if we used his look for the video, I feel that it would look more effective and that we have found inspiration from somewhere and someone. The costume will have to be smart, casual and include some form of tie, braces, trousers, smart shoes and will have to look contemporary.
This is a recent image of Brandon Flowers and i would very much like to incorporate his look into our music video of his song 'Madgalena'.

song choice
We decided to each choose a song that we liked and discuss which would be the best to use and work with and it must be something that we all agree with.
My song choice - Brandon Flowers - Magdalena
Sophie Carter's - Little comets - Isles
Sophie Li's - Flipsyde - Someday
Jared's - Cold War Kids - Hang Me Up To Dry
We all researched and listened to each of the songs to decide which one we all agreed with and that we liked and think would be good to work with and as a result of this we chose my song "Magdalena". I am happy with the choice, as it is the song that I wanted to do. But not only this but, I wanted to do this song because it has a lot of meaning behind it and the lyrics mean a lot. I found that this would be good because then we could use the song lyrics to create a music video that had meaning. I am also glad that I chose this song because I have found out things that I did not know, at first, I just liked the song because it sounded good, but now that i have looked into it and researched it a lot more, I have found that it has a story behind it and I therefore think that the music video should be a 'narrative' video.
